Background and Experience
Michael Leh has been the Managing Partner of the Locks Law Firm since 2003. He practices in the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices. He joined the firm as a law clerk while attending the evening division at the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1983. Mr. Leh specializes in mass torts and other complex litigation. He is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has tried cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. His verdicts in the asbestos cases of Coyne vs. Celotex Corp., et. al. and McCoubry vs. Celotex Crop., et. al. in the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, Maryland, were the largest verdicts in the United States in 1988, totaling over $150 million. He has tried over one hundred jury and bench trials to verdict and has obtained numerous other seven-figure verdicts.
Early in his career, Mr. Leh spent the majority of his time representing plaintiffs in asbestos litigation. He has extensive experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, environmental cases, occupational benzene cases, birth injury cases, and other complex cases. He has had involvement in supervising every practice area the firm has participated in in the last fifteen years. Since 2012 he has had significant involvement in the NFL Concussion Litigation. He has written and spoken on various topics related to complex personal injury cases and has been featured in a number of national publications.
Outside the Office
In those few moments when he is not dealing with either his job or his five children and six grandchildren, Michael most enjoys nature, whether hiking, kayaking or just sitting and silently appreciating his surroundings.
