Background and Experience
Angela Houchins is an executive administrative assistant who works directly for managing partner, Mike Leh. She initially joined the firm (then Greitzer and Locks) as a legal secretary back in 1989, straight out of the US Army. After 8 years with the firm she left, returning in 2007. Through her long history with Locks, Angela has been involved to one degree or another in most of the types of cases the firm handles. She has proven her trustworthiness, reliability and loyalty, having always tried to be a team player by helping out wherever the firm most needed it. She’s an expert with filing and serving complaints, and is familiar with many state and federal venues, which is invaluable to the firm, as it handles cases throughout the US. Her many years of experience make her a wealth of knowledge to her colleagues. She is highly organized, a master at litigation support, and her ability to communicate professionally and effectively with principals, co-workers, judges’ chambers, outside counsel and clients alike, makes her a respected asset to Locks.
Outside the Office
Personally, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a love for travel, especially on a cruise ship, where you would probably catch her on most vacations. Having earned several degrees from Liberty University, including a doctorate in pastoral leadership, she devotes a lot of her time outside the office to serving her church and community. But Angela feels her education serves her well in all aspects of life, including firm life.
