Jill Galzarano has been with Locks Law for more than 30 years, joining the firm fresh out of college. She began her career as a paralegal, later became office manager, and eventually assumed responsibility for overseeing operations on mass tort cases—an essential role given the volume, complexity, and long-term nature of these matters.
Reflecting on her tenure, Jill speaks with deep respect for the passion that defines plaintiff’s law. Having started her career when Gene Locks was at the helm, she quickly understood the central importance of the client relationship. Over the years, she watched Locks Law fully embrace a plaintiff-first philosophy, including the deliberate shift to having associates lead the intake process. This approach prioritizes trust and connection from the very first interaction—an important distinction in a field that is often deeply personal and emotionally complex.
“Plaintiff law can be very intimate,” Jill notes. “Even with all the advancements in technology, it’s remarkable to work for a firm that continues to value and support a truly personal approach to practicing law.”
Plaintiff law demands a unique combination of skill, resilience, and passion. It is not an easy field, and for those who thrive in it, the work often feels like a calling—much like medicine or teaching. Litigation can span years and frequently involves profound medical and personal consequences for clients. At Locks Law, those realities are met with both legal excellence and genuine personal investment.
Outside of the office, Jill is married with one son. She is an avid baseball mom whose weekends are full of practices, games, and plenty of meals on the go. When she isn’t sitting at a baseball diamond, she enjoys traveling with her family and cooking.
“I love that I found a company that fulfills my passion for people and my interest in law,” Jill says. “When I joined Locks as a single woman with dreams of making a difference, I don’t think I fully understood what plaintiff law was—or just how personal it would be.”
Jill reflects the legacy built by Gene Locks: a firm rooted in advocacy, compassion, and unwavering dedication to its clients. Jill is proud to have helped uphold that legacy and to continue supporting a practice of law that truly puts people first.
