Background and Experience
Madiah is a senior paralegal at Locks Law Firm’s Manhattan office, where she has been a valued member of the team since 2017. Madiah is highly experienced in all facets of litigation, from inception of the file at intake throughout settlement or trial. She provides expert legal support in complex product liability litigation, including asbestos and benzene exposure, motor vehicle cases, sex trafficking cases, medical malpractice cases, 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund claims. Her expertise and dedication make her a trusted asset to the firm and its clients. Over the years Madiah has worked tirelessly in benzene litigation and as such has helped contribute to the impressive settlements achieved. Madiah possesses extensive knowledge in the interstate discovery process and document filing procedures across various courts including state, federal, and surrogate’s courts. Madiah also handles all of the administrative tasks of the Manhattan Office.
Madiah graduated from John Jay College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Law minoring in Political Science. Madiah is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Madiah is an Electronic Notary Public.
Outside the Office
Madiah regularly meets and helps young high school graduates in applying for college scholarships. She likes to start her day by reading the news, a habit she picked up from her late grandfather. When she is not working, Madiah loves playing tourist in her own city, sampling the latest culinary hotspots and discovering hidden gems. Madiah enjoys gardening and taking care of her fig trees, and road trips with family.
